Reduce heat to the 'keep warm' setting.If desired, before serving you can strain through a fine mesh strainer to remove the cooked fruit and spices.Give the Mulled Wine a taste, and stir in any extra sweetener if needed.Reduce heat to low, cover, and let the wine simmer for at least 15 minutes or up to 3 hours. Avoid letting it boil or bubble in any way – you don’t want to boil off the alcohol!
